We Take Your Privacy Seriously
This website is owned and operated by The Adult Day Services Network of Alameda County ("ADSNAC"). Your personal privacy is important to us and we believe you have a right to expect that your personal information will be kept confidential. We will use the information that you provide to us only for the purposes described in our Privacy Statement. To better protect your privacy, this statement explains what information we collect, how we collect and use the information, and with whom the information may be shared. Except as otherwise required by federal, state or local law, we will not rent, sell, or give your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number or other individually identifiable information to any third party without your permission or request. Please realize, we may update our Privacy Statement from time-to-time, and the revised statement will be effective from the time it is posted on our website.
Information Collection and Use
When an individual visits the ADSNAC website, our servers collect some basic technical information, including, for example, the visitor's domain name, referral data (that is, we record the address of the last URL visited prior to clicking through to the ADSNAC website) and browser and platform type. This is a common practice on the Internet. We also count, track and aggregate visitor activity into our analysis of general traffic flows at our website. We use a program called WebTrends Live to analyze traffic to this web site. WebTrends Live does not create individual profiles for visitors. Unlike some tracking services WebTrends Live does not have a database of individual profiles for each visitor. WebTrends Live only collects aggregate data. For more information about WebTrends Live privacy policy, please click here.
A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. We use cookies to help deliver advertisements, to identify browsers that visit us, and to track usage throughout our Website. Other companies which place advertising on our site also have the ability to assign their cookies to you in a process that ADSNAC does not control; however, cookies cannot be used to identify individuals, only machines, so these advertisers will not know who you are. You can configure your computer not to accept cookies.
In order to provide certain information or services to you, we may need to obtain your name, mailing and street address, e-mail address, phone number and other personal information. We may collect your information when you contact us via e-mail, the telephone, the mail, in person or otherwise. You do not have to provide personal information to us; however, we may be unable to provide assistance to you if we cannot obtain such information. Your personal information will only be used by us so that we can provide you with the services or information that you request.
ADSNAC sends e-mail newsletters only to those persons who have requested this service. Subscribers may discontinue e-mail newsletters at any time, and instructions for how to discontinue this service are included with each newsletter. Third parties will not contact you through the use of our e-mail newsletters.
Certain Risks
Please note, ADSNAC cannot be held responsible for the privacy polices of websites to which we may provide links. If you visit a website that is linked to ADSNAC's website, you should consult that website's privacy policy before providing personally identifiable information.
You should be aware of the general risks of transmitting information over the Internet. While ADSNAC attempts to prevent unauthorized persons from accessing our files or tampering with our website, we cannot guarantee that these efforts will always be successful.
